We want to take a moment to look back on where we’ve been and share some exciting updates for the future of Cost Calculator. In our last blog about 2023, we talked about the progress we’ve made and the feedback we’ve got from you, our users.
In this post, you will learn about the exciting features planned for the first quarter (Q1) of 2024. The upcoming updates will ease user experiences, expand functionality, and offer more flexibility.
So, without further ado, let’s explore what’s in store for the Cost Calculator plugin in 2024!
New Integrations with Three New Payment Systems
Alongside PayPal and Stripe, we’re integrating with 3 new payment systems: 2Checkout, Razor, and Authorize.net. By adding these new payment options, we want to give our users more flexibility. You will accept various payment methods like credit cards, PayPal, and local options. This helps you better meet the needs of your customers.
Easy Organization with Group Field
Group field feature will simplify organization and user interaction. Our users will group related fields and create dynamic forms based on user actions. Your customers can control visibility with show/hide options. We aim to improve form organization and make the creation of interactive forms tailored to user needs, all within the Cost Calculator.
Simple Payments Management with Recurring Subscriptions
Recurring subscriptions will be possible with the Cost Calculator plugin. This feature works like Paypal and Stripe’s recurring payments to manage payments. You can accept regular payments, let customers make their subscriptions and accept recurring donations.
Improved Usability with Sticky Bar
We plan to make Sticky Bar Styles for showing on your website pages. This handy addition includes a sticky bar on the page with a prominent button. This button will make it easy for users to return to the calculator or take other actions quickly.
Special Deals and Promotions with Discounts Feature
You can let your customers save big with the upcoming Discounts feature in the Cost Calculator plugin! Users will apply discounts based on the total of their calculations or through promo codes. This gives you more flexibility to offer deals and promotions to your customers for more sales and satisfaction.
Customizing PDF Designs
In future updates, users will be able to personalize their PDFs with ease. Add extra elements, rearrange them—whatever fits your style. This feature will give you total control over your PDFs so they match your brand perfectly.
New Element with the Map Integration
We’re planning to add a cool new element with the map integration. So users can easily gather location info from customers. Customers can also calculate prices or distances—perfect for delivery and taxi services. We hope this update will make Cost Calculator even more powerful and versatile for all types of businesses.
Efficient Lead Management with Mini CRM
Cost Calculator will have its own mini CRM system. This handy addition helps you keep track of leads effectively. With features like highlighting important leads, assigning them to team members, analytics, reminders, and status tags, managing leads becomes a breeze.
New Elements for Better Forms
We’re adding new elements like Website/URL, Comment Box, Email Address, and Simple Button fields. For example, the Website/URL field lets users enter a website link, so it’s in the right format.
Conclusion
In closing, the Cost Calculator plugin is gearing up for an amazing year ahead! With exciting new features, we’re here to make your life easier.
We’d love to hear what you think! Which feature are you most excited about? How can we make them even better? Drop us a comment and let’s chat about how these updates can improve your business!
Fantastic news. I’m really curious about the PDF-styling feature. That will not only help me selling over the web, it will also be interesting for my clients, as there is no real solution for this on the internet. When can we looking forward to this?
Also the Mini-CRM seems to me interesting. The dashboard doesn’t help me a lot so far. A more advanced functionality will boost the plugin even for some clients of mine.
Hi Wolf,
Thank you for your comment.
We are planning to add the described features and functionalities within 3 months. Some of them require a bit more work, while the other ones are relatively easy to implement.
