As we’re getting to the third quarter (Q3) of the year, we want to review our progress in Q2 and turn our attention to future goals for MasterStudy. In this article, we’ll highlight what we’ve done so far and tell you more about new cool features.
Q2 Recap
- Audio lessons. In Q2, we introduced a new addon Audio Lessons to the Course Builder. Users can easily add audio to text, video, and quizzes with the addon. This includes uploading files or using tracks from Spotify and SoundCloud. It enhances learning with engaging experiences.
- AJAX loading. This new feature helps load pages in the MasterStudy plugin effortlessly and quickly. You can perform your work better, specifically on pages with a lot of content and pagination such as certificates.
- Student management with CSV export and import for instructors. At first, this option was available only for admins, now instructors also can upload many students with just a click.
- More Gutenberg blocks. We released cool updates to Gutenberg for MasterStudy. You can find and make use of new blocks in course categories. Featured Teacher, Courses Grid, Course Carousel, Archive Courses Blocks, Courses Categories, Course Bundles, and Instructors Grid have been introduced so far.
- New course page styles. Before users could choose simple page styles for their sites. With the fresh page styles, you can improve the course appearance. This lets you create a site that matches your style.
- Translations of plugin features. We’ve added support for translating the MasterStudy plugin features into several languages. These include Italian, German, Portuguese, French, and Spanish.

Q3 Roadmap
Course Order Details
We’re upgrading the My Orders page in MasterStudy to display order details. It will let both students and instructors check the information thoroughly about their orders. There will be the student’s name and email, payment methods, an option to send or print a receipt, and more.
Improved Reports & Analytics System
In future updates, you will be able to receive reports with additional data. With this feature, you can analyze your revenue from courses, compare it by period, and view reports on student engagement. Course reviews and rankings based on stats will be available as well.
Updates in Public Profiles
We’ll be adding separate public profiles for instructors and students. This will help you navigate your profile page more easily. Instructors can check courses, bundles, and other details while students can see a list of completed courses, open certificates and manage assignments.
Site Templates
With the MasterStudy plugin, you will get access to premium templates. You can make your website look beautiful and fresh by choosing templates with different colors.
